V.V. Lightbody – “Best Problem”

Chicago-based Vivian McConnell plays music under the name V.V. Lightbody. Today she's released "Best Problem," a lovely new single steeped in an easygoing melancholia. Over top of the track's midtempo soft-rock groove, McConnell addresses an unnamed character: "Is it not the best problem to have? Everyone wants to be with you." It's sort of a folk-rock song at its core, yet it takes a turn into outright disco at one point. And when it does, those soaring strings come courtesy of Macie Stewart. Have a listen:
