Virtual Riot and Blanke announce the Far from Home Tour, set to start in North America with 12 stops.
Both Virtual Riot and Blanke have started this year off with their own separate tours, and they now are joining forces for a shared one. The two artists have announced that they would be going on a 12-stop tour, sharing a poster that looks like it’s straight out of a video game.
The duo will be kicking off the Far From Home Tour at Echostage in Washington, DC before heading to Toronto the next day. Their next East Coast stops will include Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Chicago, before they jump down to Orlando and then head up to Montreal a few days later.
There’s a small break in the tour before it picks back up at the end of October in Boston, Dallas, and Salt Lake. It ends on the sunny West Coast, with its last two stops in Los Angeles and San Jose, California.
Support for the tour has yet to be announced, but more details are expected prior to each event.
Virtual Riot was recently on his winter Burning Out tour, which saw him visit over 25 cities at the beginning of the year. During the run of dates, he also worked on and released his recent album of the same name.
Blanke has been touring in a different way: via festival billings. This year, he played at large-scale gatherings like Ubbi Dubbi in Texas, and he will be at Beyond Wonderland later in June. He also just released his entire two-track EP, SKYFIRE.
