Aitch made a surprise appearance at a rave on a train across the North of England.

The bash, which was organised by the rapper, took place on a train which Aitch sent fans on a hunt for by scattering train tickets across northern cities, inviting them to join him for the exclusive event.

Those that were lucky enough to get their hands on tickets were treated to a surprise performance from the rapper who also performed his new single ‘Straight Rhymez 2’ which was released last Friday (March 7).

The event, which was part of a team up between Aitch and Southern Comfort, to launch Northern Comfort – a limited-edition SoCo bottle “inspired by the north’s unique energy and celebrating its vibrant culture and spirit,” took place last Thursday (March 6).

He said in a press release: “Southern Comfort’s all about good vibes, no rules, just enjoying and being yourself, you know – whatever’s comfortable and feels right. The north deserves big moments, and this was one of them.”

“Sometimes we can be overlooked up here, so Northern Comfort is all about showing love to the culture, a proper celebration of the north. And what better way to honour that than throwing the sickest party while we travel across the country?”

His new single which you can listen to below, follows his recent releases ‘A Guy Called?‘ and ‘Raving In The Studio‘.

His last album was his 2022 debut ‘Close To Home‘. That record scored four stars in NME which said: “Seeking to follow Joy DivisionOasis and more by firmly engraving Manchester onto the international music map, Aitch’s debut draws on local heritage but remains heavily anchored in a forward-thinking rap blueprint. With the ‘cheeky chappy’ mask tucked slightly back (if not fully removed), and a more introspective attitude on show, it’s an even more powerful formula.”

Last year, Aitch was announced as a keynote speaker for Manchester’s Beyond The Music Festival.
