Brian Eno, Paul Weller, Damon Albarn and Nadine Shaw led an all-star performance at the Together For Palestine gig. Watch the moment below.

The gig, organised by Brian Eno, took place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley last night (September 17), and was also available as a live-stream.

It saw huge performances from Cat BurnsRachel ChinouririYasiin BeyBastille’s Dan Smith and more, and had presenters including Eric Cantona, PinkPantheressRichard GereBenedict CumberbatchFlorence Pugh, and Nicola Coughlan. You can find a full recap of everything that went down here.

All together, the event raised just under £1.5million for the ‘Together For Palestine Fund’, which will be distributed to Palestinian-led organisations such as TaawonPalestine Children’s Relief Fund and Palestine Medical Relief Service.

Prior to the gig, Eno had explained that its aim was to see artists “come together – not just to raise our voices, but to reaffirm our shared humanity”.

During the show, he took to the stage alongside Weller, Albarn, Adnan Joubran, Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor and Shah to perform a specially composed piece of music for the event, before reading the Khaled Juma poem Oh Rascal Children of Gaza.

Built around a rousing hand drum beat and electric guitar, the song saw Eno take lead vocal duties while backed up by his fellow musicians. Watch the performance and his poetry reading below.

Elsewhere at the gig, Albarn returned to perform with the London Arab Orchestra, Yasiin Bey, and the Juzour Dance Collective, playing a medley of Palestinian traditional songs that sparked one of the biggest responses of the night.

Not long after, he performed once again as part of Gorillaz, joining Yasiin Bey – FKA Mos Def – and Syrian singer Omar Souleyman for a lively performance of a brand new song. This track was called ‘Damascus’, and is the first ever preview of the trio’s upcoming song that will be featured on Gorillaz’s new album ‘The Mountain’.

Ahead of last night’s show, Billie Eilish, Finneas, Joaquin Phoenix, Cillian Murphy, Steve Coogan and more featured in a new message for Together For Palestine.

“It’s important to speak out now, not when this is over. Right now, while it’s happening,” the latter is heard saying in the clip. “Pressurise your government, lend your support to those who are peacefully campaigning, call for a ceasefire, stop the killing.”

For Eilish, the contribution comes after she spoke out on social media in July and called Israel’s relocation plans for the people of Gaza “horrifying”.

Another charity event for Palestine will take place next month curated by Paul Weller and aiming to raise money for people in Gaza. Dubbed ‘Gig For Gaza’, the show takes place at London’s Troxy on Friday October 17, and will see Primal ScreamInhaler and Maverick Sabre performing alongside the former Jam frontman.
