Webster, who was not on Friday’s advertised line-up but is due to play her own All Points East set today (August 29), appeared four songs into Turnstile’s performance to join them for ‘I Care’. The appearance coincided with the release of the band’s reimagined album ‘Never Enough: Versions’, on which Webster’s reworked version of ‘I Care’ appears. Another notable moment came when Turnstile played their version of The Stone Roses’ ‘I Wanna Be Adored’, a cover they had given its live debut at The Piece Hall in Halifax two days earlier. The band originally recorded their rendition for Australian radio station Triple J’s Like A Version series in March, describing it as a tribute to the band’s late bassist Mani.
