Country rapper Jelly Roll threw social media influencer Logan Paul through a table while hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! – check it out below.
Last night, Jelly Roll hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he sat down with WWE wrestler Randy Orton to promote the upcoming two-night SummerSlam event, which is being hosted by Cardi B.
During their chat, the pair spoke about Orton’s enemies Drew McIntyre and part-time wrestler Logan Paul. Jelly Roll appeared on WWE programming recently, where he was pulled into a storyline with Orton, McIntyre and Paul. Paul called out Jelly Roll for only turning to the WWE for fame, leading to altercations between the two.
At SummerSlam later this month, Jelly Roll will team up with Randy Orton to take on Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.
While speaking to Orton on Kimmel, McIntyre interrupted the two and began to brawl with Orton. Jelly Roll attempted to call for a commercial break before Logan Paul appeared onscreen and slapped him across the face.
Jelly Roll then picked up Paul by his neck and choke-slammed the influencer through a table. Watch the moment below.
Jelly Roll is now the latest musician or celebrity to get involved in the WWE. Earlier this year, a string of guest appearances and storyline involvements. Besides Cardi B being confirmed to host the two-night SummerSlam event, rapper Travis Scott played a pivotal role in the WWE earlier this year.
Together, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Travis Scott helped John Cena turn into a bad guy, and Scott helped Cena win his record-breaking 17th championship at WrestleMania. Also at WrestleMania, Slayer’s Kerry King played guitar live while wrestler Damian Priest made his entrance.
Scott’s involvement in the main-event scene went down poorly with fans, with some writing on social media: “He had no connection to this company until 6 months ago. And he’s the catalyst for Cena breaking the record? It’s as bad as it gets” and “Yes, let’s have Travis Scott be the focus of John Cena’s final WrestleMania. Fucking horrible…”
Meanwhile, several WWE stars including The Miz and Charlotte Flair have spoken to NME about some of their own celebrity wishlists and scripted brawls. For instance, Charlotte Flair would love to see Megan Thee Stallion in the WWE, while The Miz told us about being “sucked-punched” by Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania two years ago.
