Little Simz has landed a role in the forthcoming Tim Mielants film, Steve, which is based on Max Porter’s 2023 bestselling novel, Shy.
The Tim Mielants-directed film was written by Max Porter, and sees Little Simz star alongside Cillian Murphy, Tracey Ullman, Jay Lycurgo, and Emily Watson. The film "follows headteacher Steve battling for his reform college's survival while managing his mental health. Concurrently, troubled student Shy navigates his violent tendencies and fragility, torn between his past and future prospects."
Steve is set for release on 19 September.
