Nicki Minaj brought out Sexyy Red, 50 Cent and more on the final night of her ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour.
In May, the rapper and singer confirmed she would begin “leg 2” of her North American tour in Philadelphia, taking the concerts to Pittsburgh, New York, Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and other cities, before wrapping in Queens.
On the eve of the final show, LiveNation shared in a tweet that the tour had “visited 16 countries, 26 states, sold out 50 shows, welcomed over 785,000 fans,” and, in only eight months, had become “the highest selling female rap tour of all time”.

The ‘Starships’ rapper recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that her previously announced deluxe edition of ‘Pink Friday 2’ is being scrapped in favour of ‘Pink Friday 3’.
She confirmed the deluxe’s release for September 13, saying it would come with more than three but fewer than seven new songs. The deluxe was then delayed and has since been axed altogether.
However, some of the new songs from the deluxe edition will make their way onto ‘Pink Friday 3’, according to Minaj. She wrote on social media: “Instead of doing a DELUXE to ‘Pink Friday 2’, I’ve decided to do a brand new album. I’ll still incorporate new songs like #Mamita & [The “anxiety” song] for the remainder of the tour tho…and I’ll announce the new date within the next couple weeks.”
