Noel and Liam Gallagher made their first off-stage public appearance together at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of the new documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger. Produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Meet Me In The Bathroom), the film debuted yesterday (September 5) at the Venice Film Festival under the ‘Out of Competition – Non Fiction’ category. Apart from their on-stage performances for Oasis’ ‘Live ’25’ tour, the pair have rarely been spotted together in public since disbanding in 2009. So, it was a big deal when the brothers arrived at the premiere side-by-side on a boat yesterday. The documentary received an eight-minute standing ovation, with Liam and Noel soaking in the applause while holding hands and raising them triumphantly. At one point, Noel even appeared to be wiping tears from his eyes, while Liam was later seen eyeing his watch and mouthing, “Should we fuck off?” before Knight seemingly convinced...
