Watch The Flaming Lips & Modest Mouse cover Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” at tour opener

The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse began their co-headlining tour at Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy on Friday (8/1), and during the encore of each show so far, they’ve joined the (black) masses of artists performing Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne covers in the wake of Ozzy’s death. The Flaming Lips broke out their cover of “War Pigs” for the first time since 2006, and Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse joined them for it. Judging by fan-shot video, it looked like an awesome moment that had the crowd excitedly singing along. Check out footage below.
