Watch VERONA ON VENUS and CALICO COOPER Cover DIE ANTWOORD's “No 1”

As soon as the name 'Cooper' pops up – there's an immediate question as to whether or not there's a relation to Alice Cooper. And this time, there is indeed a relation – it's his daughter, Calico. Calico Cooper of Beasto Blanco joined metallers Verona on Venus on their newest track, "No 1," released this past Friday (16th May).

"No 1" is an industrial cover of Die Antwoord's "No. 1," – it's ferocious, aggressive, and in your face: ""No 1" has this defiant, moody, twisted charisma to it. I wanted to honor that while taking it into much heavier, more intense territory in my own language. Calico brought Yolandi’s spirit to life while making it her own," lead vocalist Mike Spreitzer (ex-DevilDriver) explained of the track.

The music video was produced by Vicente Cordero (Ministry, Cradle of Filth) and his dark cinematic style is in full effect. You can check out the music video above, and stream the single here.
