Water From Your Eyes share new EP ‘It’s Beautiful’

NYC duo Water From Your Eyes have followed up this year’s terrific It’s a Beautiful Place with a companion EP titled It’s Beautiful. That’s out now via Matador and it features alternate version of three songs from the album.

The band’s Nate Amos says: “The new versions of ‘Born 2’ and ‘Nights in Armor’ are actually just closer to how the songs existed in their original form. People were asking me about the original 10+ minute version of ‘playing classics’ and I can’t find it anymore, so I made a new one. Thought it would be funny if it was faster, too. I added car sound effects because cars are fast.

Water From Your Eyes are on tour in Europe as we write this, playing Lyon, Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon this week. They’ve got Australian dates in March and then will be on tour with Hayley Williams though June, including three nights at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom on April 9, 10 and 12.
