Twenty bands, including Weezer, Sex Pistols, and Bad Religion, will be playing classic albums in full at Riot Fest 2025, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Chicago punk festival.
The three-day gathering is set for September 19th-21st at Chicago’s Douglass Park. As previously reported, the fest just unveiled its stellar 2025 lineup, headlined by Green Day, blink-182, Jack White, and Weezer.
Weezer will be performing their seminal self-titled debut (aka “The Blue Album”) in its entirety for their set, with Sex Pistols (featuring Frank Carter) running through Never Mind the Bollocks…, and Bad Religion revisiting 1988’s Suffer.
Other notable acts on the Riot Fest “Album Plays” poster include The Pogues (Rum Sodomy & the Lash), Helmet (Betty), Alkaline Trio (Maybe I’ll Catch Fire), and The Hold Steady (Separation Sunday), and more.
“We didn’t plan on making it for 20 years,” stated promtoer “Riot Mike” Petryshyn via a press release. “We planned on making it through one weekend. But here we are — still loud, still weird, still building something bigger than we ever meant to.”
Tickets to Riot Fest 2025, including 3-Day GA, VIP, Deluxe, and Deluxe+, are now on sale. Check out the full list of “Album Plays” below.
