Whitmer Thomas signs to Fire Talk Records and shares new song, "Candy Corn"

The signing and new single follow Whitmer's Tilt EP released last year, as well as several acting roles and collaborations with Christian Lee Hutson, Jay Som and Great Grandpa’s Al Menne.

"Candy Corn" was recorded and produced in North Carolina with Brad Cook (Waxahatchee, Courtney Barnett, Fenne Lily), and is accompanied by a video featuring fellow comedians and longtime friends Joe Pera and Carmen Christopher.

The track sees Thomas reflect on his experiences as a teenager in Gulf Shores, Alabama from the perspective of adulthood, as he explains: "This is my broadest attempt to write about what youth felt like, looking back as an aging knucklehead."
