Sound Mind Live has announced the 2025 edition of their Music Festival for Mental Health — and the event is getting a major upgrade. Previously a street fest held in Brooklyn, this year’s show will take place on May 18th at the city’s beautifully revitalized venue Brooklyn Paramount. American Authors, BØRNS, and Milck will perform, with comedian Jordan Carlos serving as host.
Tickets are on sale now, with GA priced at $35 and VIP (which includes a private concert viewing area, two drinks, and Sound Mind Live merch and gift bag) going for $135. Consequence will also be on hand during the Music Festival for Mental Health, as our podcast with Sound Mind, Going There with Dr. Mike, will be taping a live episode. In addition, there will be a spoken word presentation from mental health advocate Hakeem Rahim, panels on wellness and social justice, and an immersive audience singing moment led by Gaia Music Collective.
What’s more, the day prior to the festival will see the Sound Mind Center in Dumbo host live performances, wellness workshops, singing circles, and an ecstatic dance party. These pre-festival activities will take place May 17th, and all ticket holder receive free entry. Individual tickets for the May 17th events can be purchased via Tixr.
