Dylan Brady shared quite a bit of solo music before his duo 100 gecs made it big and, subsequently, he became an in-demand studio collaborator for artists like Charli XCX and Skrillex. Earlier this year Brady returned with "Needle Guy," his first solo release since 2018. Last Friday, he shared an EP of the same name, which is four songs of head-pounding, maximalist dance beats.
But Brady's still doing plenty of work with other artists, too, and sometimes that artist is Yeat, who also on Friday shared a new single called "Let King Tonka Talk." Brady produced the song, which features some sparse bass thumps and ping-ponging synths. At one point, Yeat raps, "Brand new BBL, I thought this bitch was fuckin' Kylie Jenner," and then Jenner herself — credited as King Kylie, naturally — raps for a couple of lines. If that interests you for some reason, check it out along with the Needle Guy EP below.
Needle Guy is out now via Dog Show.
