Hey, Weyes Blood guess what...I got nominated!

The 2026 Oscar nominations have been announced, and this year’s Best Picture contenders are One Battle After Another, Marty Supreme, Sinners, Hamnet, F1, Frankenstein, Sentimental Value, The Secret Agent, Bugonia, and Train Dreams.

In the music categories, the Best Original Score nominees are: Jerskin Fendrix (Bugonia), Alexandre Desplat (Frankenstein), Max Richter (Hamnet), Jonny Greenwood (One Battle After Another), and Ludwig Göransson (Sinners). Sadly not making the cut were Daniel Lopatin for Marty Supreme, Nine Inch Nails for Tron:Ares or Kangding Ray for Sirāt, all of which are very worthy.

For Best Original Song, the nominees are: Nick Cave and Bryce Dessner for “Train Dreams” from Train Dreams, Diane Warren for “Dear Me” from Diane Warren: Relentless, Raphael Saadiq and Ludwig Goransson, Nicholas Pike for “Sweet Dreams of Joy” from Viva Verdi!, and EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, Joong Gyu Kwak, Yu Han Lee, Hee Dong Nam, Jeong Hoon Seon and Teddy Park for HUNT/X’s “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters.

Teyana Taylor was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for One Battle After Another. And while Sirāt really should’ve gotten a Best Score nom, it did get nominated for Best Foreign Language Film (it will lose to Sentimental Value) and Best Sound (it will lose to F1).
