3 Doors Down’s Brad Arnold Dead at 47: Creed, Shinedown, Disturbed Members Pay Tribute

Following the sad news that 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold passed away at the young age of 47 on Saturday after a battle with stage 4 kidney cancer, many of his peers have paid tribute to the singer.

Shinedown singer Brent Smith posted a video message on Instagram, telling a couple of stories about Arnold, including how 3 Doors Down showed his band the ropes when they opened for them back in 2003.

Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti wrote, “One of the kindest people I’ve ever had the privilege of calling my friend passed away today. It is absolutely heartbreaking to realize that you’ll never get to perform or just have a laugh with a friend that you grew up with in the music industry.”

Disturbed singer David Draiman wrote, “Deepest condolences to Brad Arnold‘s family, friends, and fans. Brad was always a gentleman, a stellar musician, and a good man. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him, always.”
