Alice in Chains Play “Man in the Box,” “Would?” and “Fairies Wear Boots” at Final Black Sabbath Show

Alice in Chains played a mini-set at the “Back to the Beginning” final Black Sabbath concert, delivering two of their own classics and a cover of Sabbath’s “Fairies Wear Boots.”

Jerry Cantrell and company performed “Man in the Box” and “Would?” before launching into “Fairies Wear Boots” from Sabbath’s iconic 1970 album Paranoid. It marked the band’s first performance since a medical emergency suffered by drummer Sean Kinney forced the band to cancel a planned spring US tour.

Alice in Chains’ set came after sets from Mastodon, Rival Sons, Anthrax, Halestorm, and Lamb of God, as well as an all-star jam led by Disturbed’s David Draiman and Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale.
