American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband have been found dead in their Los Angeles home.
The bodies of the 70-year-old and her husband Thomas Deluca, were discovered after officers conducted a welfare check at their home. Both had died from gunshot wounds.
Police have confirmed a suspect, Raymond Boodarian, has been arrested in connection with their deaths for double murder, according to Billboard.
It is alleged Boodarian had burgled their property while they were away on July 10 – killing the couple upon their return.
In a press conference held by the LAPD yesterday (July 15), Lt. Guy Golan said it appeared, according to surveillance video from the Kaye and Deluca’s home’s exterior, that the suspect had jumped a fence on Thursday and was in their house for about 30 minutes before the pair walked in on him.

LT Golan added that there was a “violent struggle” and the homeowners were “ruthlessly shot multiple times,” but added there was no surveillance video from inside the house.
At this point, there is no known motive according to the LAPD, and it appears to have been a random attack. No weapon has yet been recovered.
Kaye worked as a music supervisor on American Idol for 15 seasons. She had previously worked on shows including Lip Sync Battle and The Singing Bee, as well as several Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
In a statement (via Billboard), an American Idol spokesperson said: “Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her.
“Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.”
Deluca was a singer-songwriter best known for his 1986 album ‘Down To The Wire’. His most recent release was his 2022 LP ‘Street Rock’.
