ARTMS member Haseul has released a new solo track, ‘Love Poison’ – check it out below.
Yesterday, the South Korean musician and former LOONA star released her first solo track of the year, the dreamy city pop tune ‘Love Poison’. The track comes alongside a similarly hazy music video.
In the clip, Haseul is seen clutching a glittery pink vial – alluding to the “poison” she sings of. Watch the music video for Haseul’s ‘Love Poison’ below.
‘Love Poison’ marks Haseul’s first solo release of the year, and her third overall. She has released at least one solo track a year since 2023: that year’s ‘Plastic Candy’ and 2024’s ‘Fragile Eyes’. It is currently unclear if she is gearing up for a larger release, in the form of either an EP or a a full-length album.
As for ARTMS, the group are set to kick off their North American ‘Grand Club Icarus’ tour this November. The tour reveal comes two months after ARTMS shared their latest EP ‘Club Icarus’. The group spoke to NME about the project ahead of its release. Haseul explained the EP’s theme to us: “The idea is to heal the souls that’ve been hurt. Even [if] the myth of Icarus itself is quite a tragedy – but the idea is to heal such a soul. If you watch our music video when it’s released, then I’m sure you’d fully understand it.”
The girl group is made up of five LOONA members: Kim Lip, Choerry, JinSoul, Haseul and HeeJin. ARTMS joined Modhaus in 2023, a label established by former LOONA producer Jaden Jeong, following their departure from BlockBerry Creative.
They also told NME about the chances of a LOONA reunion: “Although there’s nothing set in stone, if there’s an opportunity – we’d really want to do it. Our recent world tour, ‘Lunar Theory’, was to continue the legacy of LOONA, and we’ve been performing a lot of LOONA’s songs. It really made me nostalgic, so It’d be great to have all of us perform together again.”
