Behold Dr. Dre, Flavor Flav, Springsteen, and Patti Smith Performing “People Have the Power” Together

The 2026 American Music Honors were held at the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center at Monmouth University on Saturday night, celebrating an eclectic group of honorees including Dr. Dre, Patti Smith, The Doors, Dionne Warwick, and The E Street Band. The evening concluded with many of these honorees and others notable artists joining Smith on stage for a performance of “People Have the Power.”

It was truly a sight to behold: Dr. Dre standing beside Steve Earle, singing and shaking a tambourine; Bruce Springsteen trading lyrics with Patti Smith; Flavor Flav hugging everyone in sight. It’s the kind of video you have to see to believe.
