Ben Folds Announces 2026 Solo Tour Dates… With His Piano!

Have keys, will travel: Ben Folds has announced even more solo dates as part of his ongoing “Ben Folds and a Piano” tour. Sure, the name’s super-duper on the nose, but dang if it doesn’t work!

Following a run across Australia in February, Folds’ roving piano will hit the US for two legs in 2026: one in May (where he’ll play the likes of Richmond, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City) and then in June (where he’ll visit Reading, Newark, and Cincinnati). Save for the dates in early May, all of the US shows are newly-announced. Check out the full schedule below; tickets go on sale, Friday, January 30th via Ticketmaster.

The piano paladin most recently released Ben Folds Live with the National Symphony Orchestra in July 2025. That album was recorded at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where Folds served as the first-ever Artistic Advisor prior to his resignation last February. Keeping with that record, Folds’ touring lineup also includes a handful of shows with local symphonies, including those in Orlando, Utah, and New Jersey.
