Beyoncé has gone back to B’Day for her own birthday, releasing a 20th-anniversary deluxe edition of her sophomore album as she turns 45. Stream it below. The newly remastered digital version expands the record to 31 tracks, folding in previously unreleased material, B-sides, remixes, and a pair of new collaborations with Maluma and the late Selena Quintanilla. Among the biggest additions is “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor),” which combines Beyoncé’s Spanish version of “Irreplaceable” with Selena’s “Como La Flor.” According to Parkwood Entertainment, the latter’s estate granted permission for the posthumous duet. Beyoncé previously cited her fellow Texas native as an influence on the Spanish-language material she recorded during the B’Day era. She also links up with Maluma for the first time on “Cuerpo (Tumbao),” which is a rendition of “Get Me Bodied” that samples Celia Cruz’s “La Negra Tiene Tumbao.” Beyoncé produced the track alongside Edgar Barrera and CASTA, with Ali “Ali Ali” Alvarez serving as co-producer.
