BIG|BRAVE announce tenth album, in grief or in hope

The new album follows Ost released last year, with “the ineptitude for mutual discernment” arriving as the first preview of the denser, more guitar-oriented compositions to come from the band.

in grief or in hope sees longtime touring bassist Liam Andrews (MY DISCO, Aicher) joining vocalist-guitarist Robin Wattie and guitarist Mathieu Ball in the studio for the first time to create a maximalist collection of songs which capture struggle, pain, and transcendence.

Discussing the album, Wattie explains: "I wanted to explore catchy, melodic phrasing weaved throughout the intensity of the instrumentation and drony chord changes. All that I could reflect on was grief and hope; death and life; cause and effect; shared experiences of being a human person.”
