It's been a few years since Black Duck — the Chicago band made up of Douglas McCombs (Tortoise, Brokeback, Eleventh Dream Day) plus Bill MacKay and Charles Rumback — released their eponymous debut album. Last year, they did some shows with Basque musician Elena Setién, and now they're announcing a collaborative LP. Black Duck With Elena Setién arrives this summer, and "Land Of The Many Eyes" is out today.

Black Duck With Elena Setién was recorded with Nick Broste at Chicago's Palisade. "This record for me, is a prolongation of that tour together in Spain," Setién says. "We combined our sets and every night new improvisations evolved. So we took that same freshness to the studio."

"Land Of The Many Eyes" was written by Setién, and about it, Rumback says, "Elena's song has such a natural feel, it made us all feel like a band instantly." Listen below.
