Blood Wizard to return with new EP, Lucky Life

Lucky Life follows Blood Wizard's 2024 second album, Grinning William, with "Daydreaming" arriving today as the first preview of the upcoming five-track collection.

Speaking about the new song, Blood Wizard share: “Daydreaming is the first single from our new EP Lucky Life, coming out on Sad Club Records on April 16th. This song is about feeling checked-out and missing home. I found myself stuck between two places when I was writing it and didn’t feel properly attached to either. I didn’t want to dress it up, so I just tried to say it plainly and let the song speak for itself."

The new album, primarily recorded in South London, sees Blood Wizard embracing a more experimental and collaborative approach, veering away from being a more solo endeavour for vocalist Cai Burns. Discussing the album, the band comment: "Lucky Life feels like a turning point for the project and we can’t wait to share what’s next".
