Caroline’s Jasper Llewellyn covers Mazzy Star at End of the Road’s secret session

Following Caroline’s performance last night for the headline slot at the Garden Stage, Llewelyn surprised fans at Best Fit’s piano stage with an emotional rendition of the Mazzy Star track which he chose for its personal resonance in his life.

He shared with the droves gathered to watch: "I re-learned how to play this song to play it to my partner’s mum. She died last week, and I dedicate this song to her.”

Llewellyn will embark on his first run of solo live dates this autumn. He will be supporting My New Band Believe in Europe, in addition to headline shows in New York City and London, with shows booked for Horse Hospital on 6 November and Café Oto on 9 November.

Best Fit’s curation of the Piano Stage continues tomorrow following surprise performances today from thredd, Morgan Nagler and Madra Salach.
