Toronto pop outfit cootie catcher have released “Quarter Note Rock”, the final preview of their upcoming album, Something We All Got, out this Friday (27 February).
“Quarter Note rock” follows previous tracks “Puzzle Pop,” “Straight Drop” and “Gingham Dress,” as a jangle-pop taster of cootie catcher’s upcoming third album.
Speaking about the new track, singer-guitarist Nolan Jakupovski says: “‘Quarter Note Rock’ is about putting yourself out there on public display and not expecting perfection. Often writers feel nervous being so open in their lyrics but it’s those moments of vulnerability that people relate to most. Don’t be afraid to fall flat on your face, someone will say ‘literally me!’”.
