Corrosion of Conformity Announce New Double Album, Unveil “Gimme Some Moore” Featuring Al Jourgensen

Corrosion of Conformity have announced a new double album titled Good God / Baad Man, out April 3rd via Nuclear Blast Records.

The first preview of the double LP comes in the form of single “Gimme Some Moore,” which features notable backing vocals from Ministry’s Al Jourgensen. The track is a throwback to CoC’s punk era in the ’80s, barreling forward as Pepper Keenan delivers grizzled lead vocals.

The album’s origins begin after the tragic passing of drummer Reed Mullin in January 2020. Shortly thereafter, bassist Mike Dean amicably exited the group, splintering CoC’s lineup and leaving only Keenan and Woody Weatherman. Uncertain of the band’s next steps, the guitarists hunkered down at Keenan’s place in Mississippi to write and stockpile material.

“As we went on, we had such a crazy plethora of songs, it was almost like two different directions,” Keenan said. “We knew we had to split it into two different albums. Then we came up with this concept.”

Further elaborating on the concept, he continued: “Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom,” recalls Pepper. “In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”

CoC eventually locked down their rhythm section with the addition of drummer Stanton Moore (who played on CoC’s 2005 album, In the Arms of God) and bassist Bobby “Rock” Landgraf (Down, Honky), finalizing the band’s current lineup.

“With a lot of these songs, we’re trying to make Reed Mullin proud,” Pepper said. “He was a badass, and a one-of-a-kind drummer. And the stakes were high.”

The new lineup is set to tour extensively throughout 2026 in support of the album, including a co-headlining run with Clutch and a proper headlining tour surrounding the double LP’s release in April. Get tickets here.
