We caught up with the DIAMONDCORE RECORDS team to discuss their journey in Mexican Hard Dance, reflect on their milestones, and look to the future!
The hard dance scene in Mexico has no shortage of talent who are pushing the limits of the style and making it their own. In fact, the entire country is a breeding ground for unique ideas like hardstyle in Spanish, heavy kicks, and the most extreme screeches.
With the saturation of talent, it’s not always easy to stand out. This aspect of the scene is a challenge that Karina Rosee, Edson Elizalde, LiquidFlux, Velowen, RELLER, and Mortal Sounds approached head on when they created one of the strongest labels in Mexico today: DIAMONDCORE RECORDS.
In just a little over a year, DIAMONDCORE RECORDS has gone from the conceptual stage to an established brand in the scene. The label is defined by an excellent roster, unmatched dedication, and technically profound releases.
While these qualities speak for themselves, they were showcased for the world to see when DIAMONDCORE RECORDS shut down Dreamfields México with a stellar takeover at the festival in 2025. As the first Mexican label to achieve such a milestone, it’s poised to take the next step into stardom in the international scene. It shows in the work they’re doing to make their dreams a reality and elevate the hard dance scene in Mexico.
With all of the noise they’ve been making, we had catch up with the entire team to talk about their journey, reflect on their Dreamfields México takeover, future plans, and so much more. Make sure to stream “WE ARE DIAMONDCORE” on Spotify, and read on for our full conversation with the folks at DIAMONDCORE RECORDS!
Congratulations on recently passing the one-year anniversary of DIAMONDCORE RECORDS. Does the team have any words of reflection for the work that everyone has put into expanding the hard dance scene in Mexico?
DIAMONDCORE Team: Thank you for the space to talk about our label and for your congratulatory words. We’re really happy and grateful for everything that we were able to achieve in our first year — especially for the beautiful family that we’ve formed! Apart from simply releasing tracks, we’ve aimed to build a solid foundation and create a space for talent who deserve exposure.
In our first year, we’ve been expanding our brand and have discovered so much talent — hidden diamonds in the rough! We’re very happy and motivated. This is only the beginning. At DIAMONDCORE, we’re giving it our all to keep driving the harder styles forward!
All of the team’s hard work paid off when you all did a DIAMONDCORE RECORDS takeover at Dreamfields México this past year. What did it mean to you all to be the first Mexican label to have a showcase spot at this event?
Karina Rosee: The DIAMONDCORE RECORDS takeover at Dreamfields México was incredible for us! We’re grateful for the Dreamfields team — especially JC Celada, Axel Vielma, and Pablo Anaya — for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to be a part of the festival. Of course, we’re also grateful for the fans who came to support us during our set.
Being the first Mexican record label to achieve this goal at a festival of this magnitude was a huge milestone and a great responsibility at the same time. To be honest, we were all nervous. None of the guys could sleep the night before. They were excited about preparing our showcase and wanted everything to be perfect. Truly, all that hard work paid off! All of the photos, videos, and the fans who were present can attest to it!
This milestone showed us that effort, dedication, and working as a team is the key! The feeling of being able to connect with our audience through our music and feel the immense support that we didn’t expect is something I can’t even describe. All we can say is “thank you” to everyone!

Speaking of the takeover, the DIAMONDCORE RECORDS team also just released a mega collab, “WE ARE DIAMONDCORE.” How did you all manage making this a cohesive collaboration given all of the different artists featured on it?
LiquidFlux: I was personally the one who pushed for and organized the “WE ARE DIAMONDCORE” mega collaboration. It was definitely an important challenge coordinating everyone’s creative visions into one track. When you work with multiple artists, you quickly learn that everyone has their own sonic identity, energy, and way to create music.
To streamline the process and avoid complete chaos, the first thing I did was to structure a solid intro. The characteristic intro of the track with epic and cinematic vocals became the creative turning point of the track. It functioned as a structural and conceptual guide for the project.
Once I shared it with the team, everything began to flow naturally and quickly. Each artist understood the track’s direction and contributed their artistic essence to it without breaking the cohesion. Communication was definitely key, but so was having a clear vision since the beginning.
Surprisingly, we had the final version mastered in less than a week. It was an intense but organic process, and the result reflects exactly that — our work as a team and as a united label!
The hard dance scene in Mexico is unique to the rest of the world. When DIAMONDCORE RECORDS was created, what was the goal for the label’s role within the Mexican hard dance scene?
KR: DIAMONDCORE was created to have our own space to release our music, and to discover and help other talent who haven’t received true support for their projects. I’ve always known that there’s a lot of talent in Mexico and the world because even though we’re a Mexican label, we receive demos from lots of other countries, too. The idea for us is to discover and support others as much as possible so we can grow together!
Speaking of the scene, there’s plenty of talent in Mexico. How can artists get on your radar and join the movement of DIAMONDCORE RECORDS?
DRT: We base our decisions on several points that we evaluate as a team. This way, we have a wider vision and different points of view. The first step is receiving the track and listening to it. If the track meets the standards that we expect, we move on to the next criteria: the artist.
When evaluating an artist, we review the dynamic of the professionalism in their work to their relationship with the scene and the fans of this music. We’re looking for artists who are focused on and dedicated to promoting respect within the hard dance community.

You’ve all mentioned that 2026 is already booked and busy. Can you share more about what fans can expect from DIAMONDCORE RECORDS with music and live performances?
KR: We’re really happy because we will be releasing gems every month in 2026, including records from Mexican producers, artists on our roster, international artists, and special guest releases. Speaking of events, our artists have some solo performances that they will be announcing. As a label, we have a big surprise for everyone that we hope to announce soon!
Lastly, DIAMONDCORE RECORDS is doing great work to elevate Mexico’s hard dance scene. What is your vision for the future of the scene in Mexico?
KR: Thank you. We will continue to do our best as always! The hard dance scene continues to get bigger and better in general. Every day, more promoters are starting to bet on something huge happening within the Mexican scene. Even the fans are starting to support more events and artists, and that’s crucial as they are fundamental to the scene.
I think that we’re going in the right direction, and I only see positive things for the scene here in the next couple of years. On our end, we will continue working to make these predictions a reality so that our scene can keep growing and thriving!
Thank you for chatting with us, everyone. Hopefully, we’ll see DIAMONDCORE spread into the US soon!
Thank you to EDM Identity for the opportunity to share our story with your community! It’s a great help to us. Thank you to everyone who follows us and supports our music! We send gratitude and appreciation from the entire team at DIAMONDCORE RECORDS: Karina Rosee, Edson Elizalde, LiquidFlux, Velowen, RELLER , and Mortal Sounds.
