Disturbed singer David Draiman was met with boos from a portion of the crowd at the final Black Sabbath concert in Birmingham, England, on Saturday (July 5th), as reported by Birmingham Live.
While it’s not completely clear as to why Draiman was booed, he is a staunch supporter of Israel, often posting his support for the country via his social media channels. The singer performed as part of an all-star jam, fronting covers of Sabbath’s “Sweet Lead” and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Shot in the Dark,” backed by current and former members of Anthrax, Megadeth, Guns N’ Roses, and more.
Back in April, Draiman thanked Sharon Osbourne for calling for the the revocation of Kneecap’s visas after the hip-hop group projected the words “Fuck Israel, Free Palestine” projected on the big screen behind during their Coachella set.
