Donald Trump to Skip Super Bowl, Rips Bad Bunny and Green Day Bookings: “I’m Anti-Them”

Donald Trump says he won’t be attending the Super Bowl next weekend, but he doesn’t seem too broken up about it. In particular, he blasted the NFL’s choice of musical entertainment, ripping the decision to book two of his most vocal critics: Green Day for the pregame ceremony and Bad Bunny as the halftime show headliner.

“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump said in a new interview with the New York Post.

However, Trump told the Post that the musical acts aren’t the reason he is skipping the Super Bowl: rather the fact that the Big Game is being played in San Francisco means “it’s just too far away” for the aging president. “I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter,” he added.
