In March, over 300 artists are set to be hosted in Downtown Boise for Treefort Music Fest, with artists including Geese, Magdalena Bay, Father John Misty, and more already revealed as part of the line-up. In addition to the music, Treefort has announced an extensive program of events to take place across their creative additions: Artfort, Comedyfort, Dragfort, Hackfort, Kidfort, Filmfort, Foodfort, Podfort, Storyfort, Yogafort, and Treefort Market.
Artfort will serve as a living gallery, exhibiting live murals, dance and circus performances, and immersive experiences, while Comedyfort will offer a line-up of stand-up comedians from across the country, including San Francisco International Comedy Competition winner Ryan Goodcase, trans queer comedian Hayden Johnson, Vulture Magazine’s Comedian To Watch Niles Abston, and Japanese-American stand-up comedian and America’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist, Aiko Tanaka.
Continuing the entertainment, Dragfort will also feature local and national drag performers in their GET DRAGGED showcase, to be headlined by RuPaul’s Drag Race Finalist Aja, and King Molasses, who landed a spot in the 2025 OUT100 List.
Hackfort, Storyfort, and Podfort will be offering discussions around technology, literature, and live podcast stories, respectively. Meanwhile, Filmfort will lend its support to independent cinema with feature film screenings , highlighting emerging voices within the filmmaking space. Elsewhere, hands-on, all-ages activities will be offered at Kidfort, and attendees can delve into the culinary world of Foodfort for live demos, lessons, and a cooking competition. Offering a quieter break from all of the festivities is Yogafort, where attendees can access different practices to recharge, including yoga, meditation, workouts, dance, and kirtan.
Treefort will also be launching a maker's market, which will bring together a selection of local and regional art, craft, design, vintage, and music ephemera, while also hosting additional lectures and workshops.
The full line-up for Treefort Music Fest is set to be announced next Thursday (29 January).
