Dream Fatigue is a new-ish Massachusetts band launched by former Fleshwater/Vein drummer Matt Wood and fronted by Jonali McFadden, and they make shoegazy alt-rock that’s not too different from what Matt was doing in Fleshwater. They released their debut LP The Lady In The Sky in 2024, and now they announced a new seven-song EP, No Requiem, due February 13 via DAZE (pre-order). New singles “Spun” and “Be Your Anchor” finding them upping the production value from the rawer, noisier LP, and the increased clarity is well-suited for Jonali’s ability to really belt it. Dream Fatigue are playing some New England record release shows with their DAZE labelmates and Massachusetts neighbors Holder, who just dropped a killer two-song single last week that’ll take you back to the days of early 2000s post-hardcore and metalcore. After that, they’ll hit the road with Soul Blind, Split Chain, and Downward for a quadruple threat of shoegazy alt-rock that hits NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on May 9. All dates are listed below.
