With its eclectic dance music scene, Mexico City provides an ideal backdrop for the return of EDC Mexico. From February 20–22, Insomniac and OCESA will once again transform Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez into a multi-day celebration open to all ages.
Featuring large-scale stage design, interactive activities, and a versatile lineup that spans trance, bass, techno, house, and more, the festival is set to provide an experience for all. From global names like Above & Beyond, Charlotte de Witte, Chris Lake, HoneyLuv, and John Summit to unsung Latin American artists, EDC Mexico’s schedule is filled with must-see sets across all three days.

The primary payment method at EDC Mexico is an RFID wristband. You can pre-load these ahead of the festival by visiting the official website and entering your email address. Otherwise, you’ll need to visit a recharge zone inside the venue and use your debit, credit, or cash card. It’s a good idea to bring a credit or debit card as well as some Mexican pesos for peripheral vendors.
Please keep in mind that EDC Mexico is a smoke-free environment. Cigarettes, vapes, and lighters are among the prohibited items. Scroll to the bottom for the full list of what you can and cannot bring with you.

Parking access will be located at Gate 15 of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, and preferred parking access will be located at the Estadio Harp Helú parking lot. You can reserve a safe parking spot before arriving at the festival on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Individual passes are needed for all three days. EDC Mexico 2026 – Shuttle Information:
Insomniac is bringing back discounted shuttle options for EDC Mexico attendees, with pickups available at select hotels across the city for added convenience. The Official Insomniac Shuttle Program offers a stress-free alternative to driving, helping fans avoid congestion and parking challenges while ensuring a reliable ride to and from the festival. Riders will travel on comfortable coach buses at a lower cost than many other transportation options. Attendees can book any shuttle stop, even if they are not guests at that hotel. Unfortunately, festival attendees have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers. It’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at EDC Mexico 2026.

EDC Mexico 2026 – Dos & Don’ts:
Permitted Items
- Small bags, single-compartment backpacks, plush backpacks, purses (maximum 12“ x 12“)
- Official Insomniac water bottles — must be empty upon entry
- Hydration packs with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment — must be empty upon entry
- Cell phones, portable chargers, and external batteries
- Fanny packs
- Sunglasses and hats
- Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired (must show physician’s prescription, consult with a safety officer upon entry, and only bring the amount of medication needed for the duration of the festival. Prescription must match ID)
- Earplugs
- Sealed lip balm and gloss
- Powder makeup
- Sealed tampons
- Glowsticks and glowing or illuminated costumes or jewelry
- Sealed packs of gum
- Hula hoops (including LED hoops)
- Inflatables (must be deflated upon entry)
- Flags, banners, and handmade signs (not corporate or company-branded, and no hard flagpoles)
- Festival totems and decorated pool noodles (see Totem Guidelines)
- Non-professional flash or still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″ (Sony Action Cam, GoPro, etc.), and GoPro extendable poles or selfie sticks
- Air couches and air chairs (must be deflated upon entry)
- Small hand sanitizer (60ml or less)
- Belts (simple styles, nothing prominent or dangerous, like spikes)
- Contact lens formula (not regular eye drops, must be new and sealed)
- Masks (such as deadmau5 or Marshmello) made with soft materials and small batteries — face must be fully visible upon entry

- Stuffed animals or dolls
- Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms, or commercial-use rigs)

Totem Guidelines
- Maximum height is 3 meters.
- Totems must be made from a lightweight material (e.g., foam, PVC — no solid material).
- Collapsible and telescoping camera extenders that follow the above guidelines are okay (lightweight/hollow aluminum/polycarbonate).
- PVC, light wood or aluminum poles must be no thicker than 2.5 centimeters in diameter.
- Decorated pool noodles work great for easy entry through security.
- Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry.
- Any item deemed dangerous will not be allowed.
