A young gay model has his life upended by a family tragedy in HBO’s Proud.
Created by Karol Klementewicz, the Polish drama follows carefree model Filip, who is suddenly forced to grow up following the death of his sister.
Ignacy Liss leads the show’s cast, alongside Kamil Studnicki, Sylwia Boroń, Maria Sobocińska and Alicja Lewczuk. For his performance, Liss won the award for Best Actor at the 2026 Series Mania TV festival in France.
Proud premiered on June 12, 2026 on HBO Max in the UK, with the remaining episodes set to air weekly.
