Forbidden Kingdom is set to return to the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando in 2027, while expanding from two days to three on April 23-25.

Another bass-fueled edition of Forbidden Kingdom has come and gone. Although lovers of dubstep, drum and bass, and more are recovering from their energetic weekend in Orlando, Insomniac is already setting its sights on getting everyone hyped for what’s to come in 2027. Today, the festival revealed its official dates for next year’s edition, April 23-25, along with some surprising news of where it will take place.

This past weekend, official flyers for Forbidden Kingdom 2027 were distributed, touting that the festival would move to Tinker Field and feature six stages. Yet those plans have seemingly changed, as today’s announcement revealed that the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando will once again host the bass-heavy experience.

“As some of you know, we handed out flyers during the show announcing a new venue for next year,” Pasquale Rotella said on Instagram. “We were planning to share more details right after the weekend, but after reading your reactions and connecting with so many of you in person, I decided to pause and really take it all in. The raver in me connected with what many of you were expressing. And anytime we have the opportunity to make a change that feels right, we will.”

The expansion from two days to three is new, and the festival is offering performances from over 100 acts across five stages. Those planning to attend the 2027 edition of Forbidden Kingdom can lock in their passes early during the presale, which is set to kick off on May 1.

While details remain limited regarding what else Insomniac has in store for Forbidden Kingdom, it’s clear they’re cooking up something special. This year saw dominating sets from the likes of Subtronics, Zeds Dead, REAPER, Kompany, HVDES, SVDDEN DEATH, ATLiens, Getter b2b Space Laces, and more, so if you’re looking for a taste of the soundscapes present, expect a lineup filled with heavy-hitters and rising stars alike.

GA, GA+, and VIP passes for Forbidden Kingdom go on sale Friday, May 1, at 12pm ET via Front Gate, with a limited number of passes starting at the all-in price of $149. Stay tuned for additional updates by following the festival’s official social media channels.
