The full trailer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 17 is here, with another teaser for its Abbott Elementary crossover and more hijinks, including Danny DeVito’s Frank making a Gen Z love connection on the Golden Bachelor.
According to the official logline, the It’s Always Sunny gang will go to great lengths for “grander aspirations,” in which they will “exploit cross-network promotion to increase market share; scapegoat one of their own to avoid a PR backlash; risk everything for a handshake with the Saudis; bend the laws with side hustles to pad their pockets; and change everything about themselves to appeal to a broader audience.”
“Like any corporate goon, the Gang craves money and parasitic social privileges. That’s been plain since 2005,” it continues. “But they’re also human beings. They crave love.. respect… conditional freedom… constant adulation… histrionic amounts of attention… non-stop gratification… and unfiltered, slaphappy eroticism.”
The first two episodes of Season 17 premiere on July 9th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on FX and will stream the next day on Hulu.
