Insane Clown Posse‘s infamously debaucherous festival, the Gathering of the Juggalos, celebrated a quarter century this year, bringing its 25th anniversary edition to Thornville, OH’s Legend Valley over four days (8/13-8/16). ICP, having released their 18th album, The Naught, just ahead of the festival, played two sets (one a Shangri-La tour throwback), and also performing were GWAR (Elon Musk beheading included), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Three 6 Mafia, and Tech N9ne (ahead of what was to have been their tour together, which they postponed), Waka Flocka Flame (who donned clown face paint for the occasion), Immortal Technique, Onyx, Oujia Macc, RA The Rugged Man, Ill Bill (who cut his set short after a bottle of Faygo was thrown at the stage), and more.
As usual there was plenty more than music going down, including wrestling; double Juggalo weddings; Juggalo burlesque; circus sideshow acts; contests for hot wing-eating, costumes, body and face-painting, Faygo-launching, wet t-shirts, and more; Mr. and Miss.
