Geese frontman Cameron Winter has confirmed he’s working on a new solo project. Now, he’s revealed that a new solo project is in the works – but that progress on it has been “hard”. During a new interview with Rolling Stone, Winter opened up about the process. “I used to write songs with interesting, difficult almost, chords in them, and now it’s like I-IV-V until the cows come home,” Winter said. “It’s actually getting worse and worse. It’s like the fucking rut is getting deeper and deeper, because then I do a ii chord, and I’m just like, ‘Ew. What are you, fucking Keith Jarrett, you piece of shit?’” He went on to say that he’s played songs from the album to a few other people, but added: “I stopped doing it because I think it just is not useful for me.
