The guest line-up also features Anoushka Shankar, Asha Puthli, Bashy, Bootie Brown, Fatoumata Diawara, Gruff Rhys, Kara Jackson, London Arab Orchestra, Moonchild Sanelly, Omar Souleyman, Popcaan, Roses Gabor, Yukimi and Zanai Bhosle. Sparks and Trueno, who open the show, will also appear during Gorillaz’s set.
The performance marks a milestone for the virtual band, created by Albarn and Jamie Hewlett more than 25 years ago. While Gorillaz have headlined festivals and arenas globally, this is their first time topping the bill at a stadium. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium show caps a 13-date UK and Ireland run earlier this year tied to their latest album The Mountain.
Following the London date, Gorillaz will play festivals across Europe before heading to North and South America in the autumn. The band are also scheduled to perform in India for the first time early next year, with shows in Mumbai on 27 January 2027 and Bengaluru on 31 January 2027.
