Gorillaz to Make Long-Awaited SNL Debut

Nearly three decades into their illustrious career, Gorillaz are finally set to make their SNL debut. The Damon Albarn-led band will serve as the musical guest on the show’s March 7th episode hosted by Ryan Gosling.

Gorillaz will be appearing in support of their upcoming album The Mountain, which arrives one week earlier on February 27th. Also in late February, they’re set to bring their House of Kong exhibition to Los Angeles for a four-week run, and play a two-night stand at the Hollywood Palladium.

Earlier this week, Consequence named Gorillaz’s self-titled debut album the 4th best album of 2001.
