Hammok – “Tap Water”

4 hours ago 2

Norwegian noise rockers Hammok recently announced their new album When Does This Place Become Our Scene, due out this June. Its lead single "The Scene" is a promising one, as is today's follow-up "Tap Water," a song vocalist/guitarist Tobias Osland explains is about "self sabotage and reaching out for an exchange of energy." "Tap Water" is piercing, hooky, and somewhat groovy, acting as a call to arms for resisting nonchalance: "Wake up/ There's something exponential about to/ To take off," Osland commands, his voice switching between a melodic belt and a guttural scream. "How can I set myself on fire/ When nothing is painful anymore?" Check out Christoffer Bya's video for it below.

When Does This Place Become Our Scene is out 6/5 on Sargent House. Pre-order it here.
