Hayley Williams Covers Her Grandfather Rusty’s Song On New Deluxe Edition

Last year, Paramore star Hayley Williams helped her grandfather Rusty release Grand Man, the previously unreleased LP that he recorded back in the '70s. Hayley also recorded a cover of Rusty's song "Friends Or Lovers," and it came out on vinyl back in November. Now, the deluxe edition of Grand Man is out, and that cover finally hits streaming.

Hayley Williams recorded her version of "Friends Or Lovers" with herself on lead vocals and synth, her Paramore bandmate Zac Farro on drums, and Brittany Howard on background vocals, flute, and acoustic 12-string. It's a nice little '70s soft-rock love songs, and Hayley sings the hell out of it. Listen to her version below.
