Hayley Williams’ new project Power Snatch release debut EP

Last week, Hayley Williams revealed the existence of a new project with her Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party collaborator Daniel James called Power Snatch by premiering the song “Assignment” on Apple Music 1, and then fans did some digging and realized Power Snatch released the song “DMs” on Bandcamp in December and teased another song on Instagram in July. Now, one morning after Hayley lost out on all four of her Grammy nominations (and said “it’s an honor to lose to The Cure anytime”), Power Snatch have released their debut EP, EP1.

The EP is on Bandcamp but not major streaming services, and it includes “DMs,” “Duh” (the song that was teased on Instagram), and “Hole In The Ceiling”–three moody, subdued indie rock songs that fit pretty well with the solo album Hayley released last year. The EP doesn’t include “Assignment,” though that song is now on major streaming services. Listen to “Assignment” and EP1 below.
