The Bottoms actor is due to take on the role of the iconic character (aka Prince Adam) in the superhero film, and confirmed in a new Instagram post that filming has wrapped on the project.
Galitzine also gave fans a tease of his He-Man look, posting a silhouetted picture of himself in his costume with his back turned to the camera.
“Well, that’s a wrap on Masters of the Universe,” the star wrote. “It has been an honour shouldering the responsibility of playing Adam and He Man. It’s been the role of a lifetime and I put everything into it. There’s not much I can show you, but I am so proud of the movie we’ve made. Thanks to our amazing cast.”
The Masters Of The Universe film is also set to star Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, House of the Dragon’s Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Game of Thrones’ Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Riverdale’s Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms, Deadpool & Wolverine‘s Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull and Game Of Thrones‘ Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto.
Bumblebee‘s Travis Knight is on board to direct, taking over after Amazon MGM acquired the project in early 2024. The film was originally slated for Netflix, with West Side Story‘s Kyle Allen previously cast in the role of He-Man.
A separate Masters Of The Universe series from Kevin Smith called Revelation previously aired on Netflix, wrapping up its two series run last year. Among the voice talents are Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Chris Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Liam Cunningham, Melissa Benoist and William Shatner.
