Heated Rivalry Stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams Set as 2026 Olympic Torchbearers

Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, stars of the buzzy HBO Max Canadian hockey romance Heated Rivalry, are set to take part in the 2026 Winter Olympic Games as torchbearers.

The duo were selected as official torchbearers for the Olympic Torch Relay, which is currently weaving through Italy before ending in Milan ahead of the opening ceremony on February 6th.

Per tradition, the torch began its journey in Greece before making its way to the host city. It is currently in Trieste, Italy, and will stop in 13 more cities before the opening ceremony.

Based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series, Heated Rivalry stars Storrie as Russian hockey player Ilya Grigoryevich Rozanov, who falls into a steamy off-ice romance with Williams’ Shane Hollander, a Canadian captain of a rival team.

The show is currently streaming on HBO Max and was recently renewed for Season 2.
