How Much Art (Fiddlehead, Gel) share new song “XO”

How Much Art, the new post-hardcore band with Fiddlehead/Have Heart‘s Pat Flynn on vocals and Shawn Costa on drums, plus current and former members of Gel, Downtalker, and more, have shared their second single, following last year’s excellent “PR.” The new song is called “XO,” and it features the singer of Copycat “singing in their native tongue of French on a song about the way in which words always seem to fail when expressing the truest form of love to another person,” to quote the band.

As with “PR,” “XO” is a song that I think Pat Flynn fans will find instantly satisfying. It’s not miles away from Fiddlehead, but also a little more post-punky and maybe even catchier. Both songs will appear on the band’s debut EP Public Relations, which is due this year on Convulse Records, and I can’t wait to hear what else the EP has in store.
