IndustryHours is once again giving up the game with the help of professionals like Josh Yamini, Laura Rosales, and Allison Blythe.
IndustryHours is coming back at the end of the month. This meeting of minds geared toward the EDM business is hosting its first edition at the newly opened District 7 on April 29, and key professionals in the recording industry, media, and beyond will be there.
Record labels will be well represented among this installment’s panel speakers. Marketing project manager Allison Blythe of Astralwerks and Capitol Records will be there, as will Repopulate Mars artist manager and social media coordinator Laura Rosales. Ditto for Josh Yamini, who founded Good Society, which has also emerged as a prominent LA collective.
That’s not all. DMZ News Official will also be present and accounted for at the gathering, offering the unique media perspective that only they can provide. And Elaine Huang of Neon Owl and Open Door Sessions will open a window into what it’s like to run a dance music nonprofit.
IndustryHours has been hosting networking mixers since June 2024, originally as a monthly event but more sporadically as of 2026. Professionals from brands like Goldenvoice, Space Yacht, and Desert Hearts have participated in their events, along with globetrotting artists like Henry Fong, Kaleena Zanders, A Hundred Drums, and Techno Tupac.
The April mixer marks the first event in a long-term IndustryHours residency at District 7. Located near the Arts District on the edge of Downtown Los Angeles, it consists of three rooms as well as an outdoor smoking area that organizers intend to use to their fullest extent.
Don’t miss your chance to get early bird tickets to the next edition of IndustryHour’s Music Industry Mixer & Panel. We’ll see you there!
